英国爱丁堡大学博士、少将、中国工程院院士、国际欧亚科学院院士、国家自然科学基金委员会信息科学部主任、中国人工智能学会理事长、中国指挥和控制学会名誉理事长、杭州电子科技大学名誉教授。控制流-数据流图对理论奠基人，证明了关系数据库模式和谓词逻辑的对等性，提出了云模型、云变换、云推理、云控制等方法用于不确定性认知和云计算。承担了国家电子信息系统重大工程的研制和开发。获国家和省部级二等奖以上奖励11项。出版中文著作5本、英文专著3本，发表期刊论文140多篇。
Professor Deyi Li obtained his doctoral degree from University of Edinburgh, UK. He is an academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, and academician of International Eurasian Academy of Sciences. He is also a major general in China,director of Information Science Department of National Natural Science Foundation of China, president of China artificial intelligence society, and honorary president of China command and control society. He is an Honorary Professor of Hangzhou Dianzi University. He laid a foundation to control flow data to flow graph pair theory, proved the equivalence of relational database mode and predicate logic, and proposed cloud model, cloud transformation, cloud reasoning, and cloud control for uncertainty cognition and cloud computing. He has undertaken several major projects and won 11 national, provincial and ministerial awards. He has published 5 books in Chinese, 3 monographs in English and over 140 journal papers.
